SES aprueba plan de recuperación de la Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano

En marzo de 2020 la Superintendencia de Educación Superior (SES) inició un proceso de investigación contra la Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano (UAHC) debido a un recurrente déficit financiero y que durante los últimos tres períodos (2017, 2018 y 2019) se ha acentuado de manera significativa. Esta semana la SES concluyó el proceso administrativo sancionatorio luego de aprobar el plan de recuperación presentado por la institución para mejorar su situación financiera, académica y administrativa.

Al respecto, el superintendente de Educación Superior, Jorge Avilés, explicó que la UAHC generó una serie de compromisos detallados en el pan de recuperación, lo que “da cuenta de un riguroso y profundo trabajo, demostrando durante todo el transcurso del proceso la existencia de recursos y capacidades en materia financiera, administrativa y académica para hacer frente a los problemas”, materias que serán fiscalizadas por la SES. “Los próximos dos años esta Superintendencia fiscalizará el cumplimiento de todas y cada una de las medidas comprometidas”, afirmó el Superintendente Avilés.
