SES finalizes public consultation on General Standard N°5 which regulates the provision of information by higher education institutions

With more than 20 comments and observations, the Superintendency of Higher Education (SES) finalized the public consultation process, callingado to participate in the review of General Norm No. 5, which regulates the manner, means, and deadlines according to which universities, professional institutes, and technical training centers in the country—as well as related third parties and those with whom they have entered into contracts or operations—must submit the information requested by this supervisory body in the exercise of its functions.

From this moment on, contributions received will be analyzed, responded to, and those deemed relevant will be added to strengthen and perfect the content of the standard for your official dictation.

Under the categories of complaints: 

Obtaining academic background: certificates (notes, a regular student, ranking, recognition of hours, title, grade, and exit), plans and programmes, concentration notes

Problems in the community institutional arising from violations of the internal regulations of the institutions 

Charges for removal or academic suspension, charging wrong.

Benefits and/or grants student grants and loans) 


    Misleading advertising 
   Infrastructure or equipment, laboratories, computer support 

    Application and admission selection test 

    Comprehensive policy against sexual harassment, violence and gender discrimination 

What types of complaints are not within the SES's jurisdiction?
